The Coastal Georgia Regional Development Center has recently completed a feasibility study for the construction of a multi-use trail on the abandon rail corridor from Kingsland to Riceboro. The route for the study traverses some of the most picturesque and ecologically diverse terrain in the coastal region. Upon completion, the trail would serve as a major attraction, bringing visitors and cycling enthusiast from around the country to the area.

The next step in the process is the formation of an implementation committee to carry out the recommendations of the study and to initiate trail construction.
